|
|
Hi guys,
My question is not related to OVP models, but I hope one of you can help me with this TLM2.0 question.
I am having a synthetic initiator to test my Network-On-Chip platform. I am trying to inject traffic into the platform at different bandwidth. For example, injection rate=1 means I need to inject a transaction every clock cycle, for inj rate of 0.1, a transaction object is injected every 10 clock cycles.
I want to create a initiator operating at 500MHz. My questions are,
1) How do I characterise frequency i.e clock period in Loosely timed models??
2) What and how should be the quantum period fixed?
3) If I have a quantum period how many transctions should I initiate within 1 quantum?
Any help with these questions is deeply appreciated. |
