hello,
In the examples, when creating modules, the peripheral is from the VLNV library. Can I use the peripheral my own? For example, now I design a UART and I want to use it to send data in module on OVP.Should I also add the UART into the VLNV?Please tell me if it is posseble. And how can I do it?Thank you very much!

You are creating a new UART peripheral model?

I recommend doing this is your own VLNV library. This keeps your work separate from the Imperas/OVP installation and so you will not accidentally delete your work if you install a new version!

You can compile your VLNV library using Makefile.library (see Installation and Getting Started Guide for more info) and you can add your VLNV library to the search path for the simulator by adding --vlnvroot <path> to your simulation command line.
NOTE: The VLNV must be unique for all components so choose the vendor and name accordingly!

For creating peripheral models there are several documents, please look at iGen_Peripheral_Generator_User_Guide.pdf and OVP_BHM_PPM_Function_Reference.pdf to get you started.
