Hello,

my simulation is running xtimes faster than real time: great.

But currently we implemented an UART that links to a real UART which works perfectly. But having the sim run xtimes faster than real time, the protocol on the UART is also xtimes to fast (so are the timeouts).

Question: Is there an easy way to slow down simulation speed to reach as good as possible real time behavior?

Regards,
Frank

Hi

You can get it to run the same as real time by assigning the walclock factor

void icmSetWallClockFactor(double factor);

This is described in detail in this section of the OVPsim_and_CpuManager_user_guide
14 Limiting Performance to Wall Clock Time

Thx
Lee
