On 1st June 2015 the licensing terms for the OVP models of ARM processors changed. You can read the current license agreement here . Please do take the time to review this as you need to accept these terms to use the models.

The license for the ARM models now includes the following terms:

1. Licensee is granted a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable, revocable licence
to:
(i). If no source is being provided to the Licensee: use and copy only (no
modifications rights are granted hereunder) the ARM Models in binary form for
the sole purpose of designing, developing, analyzing, debugging, testing,
verifying, validating and optimizing software which: (a) (i) is for ARM based
systems; and (ii) does not incorporate the ARM Models or any part thereof; and
(b) such ARM Models may not be used to emulate an ARM based system to run
application software in a production or live environment.

(ii). If source code is being provided to the Licensee: use, copy and modify the
ARM Models for the sole purpose of designing, developing, analyzing,
debugging, testing, verifying, validating and optimizing software which: (a) (i)
is for ARM based systems; and (ii) does not incorporate the ARM Models or
any part thereof; and (b) such ARM Models may not be used to emulate an
ARM based system to run application software in a production or live
environment.

(iii). In the case of any Licensee who is either or both an academic or educational
institution the purposes shall be limited to internal use.

2. Except to the extent that such activity is permitted by applicable law, except for the
purposes of error correction Licensee shall not reverse engineer, decompile, or
disassemble any ARM Model.

3. This Agreement does not entitle Licensee to manufacture in silicon any product
based on any ARM Model.

4. This Agreement does not entitle Licensee to use the ARM Models for evaluating the
validity of any ARM patent.

5. In any conflict between the ARM Model license terms and Software License terms
the ARM Model license terms shall apply.

Please note you need to accept these terms before installing any new releases etc.

Thanks
OVP Admin.
